Job Summary

This role leads the Inside Sales Team to ensure effective sales management and customer development. The person in this position will guide and lead the team with priority setting and structural improvement initiatives (on tools & processes). Also, this role is connected to the Teamlead Order Management in order to ensure and-to-end processes between the sub-teams. Continuous international collaboration with Business Units and factories is required and expected.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leadership of the Inside Sales Team EMEA, both disciplinary and professional
  • Support of Sales Managers on (but not limited to):
    • Lead and Opportunity creation and follow-up
    • Sales contract management, with focus on contract creation and implementation
    • Forecast analytics and Demand planning
  • Quote Management including quote creation, lead of quote approval process and follow up
  • Maintain customer and business-related master data
  • Maintain opportunity data in Salesforce and update based on opportunity changes
  • Customer and market related reporting and analytics
  • Salesforce CRM data base support
  • Maintain business relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Full Sales Management responsibility for assigned customers

Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies

  • Degree in Economics with technical competence or Degree in Engineering with economical competence or comparable professional education
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience
  • Good self organization and prioritization
  • Strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, incl. developed negotation and presentations skills
  • Teamlead experience is a plus
  • Fluent language skills in English and German. Other Languages a benefit.
  • ERP and CRM system experience benefical, preferrably on ORACLE, SAP, SalesForce or similar
  • MS Office knowledge required, especially on Excel, Powerpoint, Word

Travel Requirements           

  • Occasional travel required to the Innovation Center in Wackersdorf and to Quarterly Sales Meetings, not more than 15% of working time
