Passive Fire Protection, Experienced PFP Estimator

Join our dynamic team to support our Double Impact strategy with ambitious growth targets in Passive Fire Protection

This is your opportunity to join a global company and be part of our Global PFP estimation team working closely with our commercial teams to enable and secure our growth targets in PFP.

Strengthen our PFP estimation team

As an experienced PFP estimator you will be responsible for delivering accurate PFP estimation reports within our Global team. Ensuring that best practices are being adhered to, you will to be an integral part of a strong estimation team, servicing both internal stakeholders and external customers.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

  • Produce accurate and concise material take off  reports and product volume estimates in a timely and efficient manner

  • Prepare PFP estimations for a wide range of projects across both  the infrastructure and energy segments using the most efficient product choices

  • Manage and prioritise estimates in accordance with all SLA’s and company processes, interrogate relevant project information requirements in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and  to meet customer expectations

  • Ability to read, interpret, understand structural drawings would be an advantage and where necessary question/discuss project outputs from structural drawings and material lists

  • Liaise with multiple internal stakeholders

We’re looking for a seasoned professional to join our team

As our ideal candidate you are customer centric and open to working across a wide variety of Global cultures, with cross-functional teams. You are thorough, disciplined and reliable with strong planning skills, an attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Additionally, you should also ideally have:

  • Preferably a minimum of 5 years full time Passive Fire Protection estimation experience

  • Ability to communicate with and challenge both internal/external customers

  • Specific knowledge of the intumescent coatings  industry, ideally for both Cellulosic and Hydrocarbon and a knowledge of corresponding standards.

  • Excellent level both spoken and written  English Language (other languages would be desirable but not essential)

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office platforms and applications
