Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to coordinate the strategy, roadmap, and business performance of Teradyne Automation Solutions, targeting the semiconductor Legacy Fab and Assembly & Test markets. This role requires a deep understanding of Factory Automation solutions and a proven track record of successfully launching innovative products.
Essential Functions:
- Market Strategy & Opportunity Analysis: Spearhead the identification and evaluation of market opportunities within semiconductor factory automation, driving clear, actionable strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop targeted strategies informed by market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial assessments to maximize market potential.
- Product Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a compelling product/solutions roadmap designed to capture significant and sustainable market share.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and other teams to drive effective new product introduction processes, ensuring products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet/exceed performance and cost targets.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to secure early adopter customers, ensuring strong product-market fit and accelerating adoption.
- Revenue & Profitability: Achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets by driving product growth and optimizing market performance.
- Product Management: Oversee product positioning, pricing, and forecasting to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Marketing & Sales Enablement: Develop and implement plans for marketing, sales, and partner enablement to promote Teradyne's Automation Solutions.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education:
- BS in engineering or equivalent experience, MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years in product management roles.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products.
- Extensive experience in industrial automation markets, with a focus on factory automation solutions
- Strong technical background, with expertise in managing integrated system solutions (hardware and software) within the factory automation sector.
- Hands-on experience in robotics, autonomous systems, measurement, or safety applications.
- Familiarity with semiconductor fab and assembly processes.
- Proven success in defining, managing, and scaling high-revenue products.
- Experience launching products into new markets with measurable success.
- Customer-centric approach with experience in both pre-sales and post-sales customer engagement.
- Exceptional direction and management skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to getting things done.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $129,900-$207,900. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
