We are looking for a Senior Atlassian Jira & Confluence Admin with a strong background in managing JIRA and Confluence environments, data migrations, and scripting. This role is essential in supporting our clients' operations and will allow you to leverage your technical expertise in a collaborative setting.
As a Senior Atlassian Jira & Confluence Admin, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to optimize the use of Atlassian tools in various projects. You will also join the Formula.Monks team, collaborating with a diverse group of technology professionals.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience as a Jira and Confluence administrator.
Proven experience in managing data migrations from on-premises systems to Atlassian Cloud.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python and Groovy, to create and maintain scripts for data handling.
In-depth understanding of JIRA workflows, schemes, fields, and screens to optimize project management.
Ability to create and customize Confluence spaces and templates for effective project documentation.
Experience in troubleshooting JIRA issues and ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Familiarity with database management, including SQL and NoSQL, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.
Good English skills (B2 or above preferably - you’ll be working with clients in the US).
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
Previous experience in a client-facing role would be beneficial.
