KH050 - Full-Time Live-Out Career Nanny - Scarsdale, NY

Overview:

A wonderful, loving family in Scarsdale, New York is seeking a full-time live-out career nanny for their infant who will be 8 months old at the start of the position. The position will begin in February. The general daily schedule will be Monday through Friday 930am-530pm. The family is looking for a nanny who will hopefully stay with them for years and continue on with them for future children. 

Responsibilities:

• Full childcare; Providing a warm and loving environment while maintaining respectful boundaries and promoting independence.
• Transportation to activities, play dates, and outings with eventual pick-up and drop-offs at school
• Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, and activities
• Helping with child-related meal preparation and baby dishes including washing and sanitizing bottles 
• Managing the tidiness and organization of the child's spaces and belongings 
• Child-related laundry 

Qualifications:

• Warm and nurturing personality
• Trustworthy, good common sense, and safety conscious
• The parents are active and involved, so much be willing to follow their instructions and respect the family’s personal preferences
• Pitch-in attitude and a proactive and positive personality
• Excited to work with the infant age, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next
• Confident swimming skills (nice to have)

Requirements:

• Driver’s license and clean driving record (nanny car provided on duty)
• Extensive infant experience in a private home as a nanny
• Commuting distance from Scarsdale, NY
• Comfortable going up and down stairs throughout the day as the home is 3 levels 
• Professional/career nanny who knows how to maintain boundaries and able to navigate work from home parents 
• Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.) and strong communication skills 
• Up to date on vaccinations including willingness to get Covid and Flu vaccines annually
• Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certifications (or be willing to update them ASAP)
• Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits:

$35-40 per hour plus applicable overtime
