LPC Junior Associate with German 

 

Job purpose:
 

Providing assistance to Associates, Senior Associates and Experts in their transactional and recurring day-to-day tasks on legal, compliance and /or data privacy matters, from a Regional LPCX Unit, within and across organizational boundaries. The jobholder will assess the respective tasks originated by Business Units and Platform Functions in Bayer legal entities in the LPCX Region and thus protect the assets and reputation of Bayer and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the LPCX Region.

 

 

 

    Who you are:

 

  • Academic degree (Bachelor, Master) in Law, Compliance, Business Administration, IT, Information Security, or Controlling / audit or related discipline 
  •      English language on fluent level (B1 and above) and fluent or comparable level (oral and written) in one of the following languages: German (preferable), Turkish or Arabic
  • Good communication and training skills, also vis-à-vis non-lawyers
  • Goal-oriented, hands-on, proactive team player
  • Good understanding of foreign cultures, ideally proven by time spent abroad
  • Knowledge of Compliance Management Systems desirable
  • Knowledge on anti-corruption, anti-trust, data privacy or laws relevant to the health care or crop science industry helpful
  • Willing to develop in the area of Compliance
  • Process and IT affinitiance aware
  • Good project management skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and knowledge in handling of management tools


What you do:
 
  • Provide support to Associates, Senior Associates and Experts on general, recurring questions in the area of Compliance (e.g. Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Conflict of interest, Code Compliance), 
         including advice on the correct interpretation of LPC related Bayer policies and support Third Party Due Diligence checks and approvals
  • Provide support to Associates, Senior Associates and Experts in the Integrated Compliance Management and support the Effectiveness Monitoring for certain compliance risk areas
  • Provide Data Privacy consultancy and perform all elements of the global Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) for operational handling
  • Support the roll out and participation in LPC driven web based trainings, support LPC driven communication campaigns and advise business and platform functions on organization and responsibilities within LPC
