Job description

Nearshore Cyber USA, LLC is seeking a skilled Drata Implementation Consultant to join our team on a freelance basis. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a crucial project implementing Drata for compliance automation.

Key Details:

  • Position: Freelance Drata Implementation Consultant
  • Location: 100% Remote (Americas-based) LATAM Preferred
  • Hours: Average 20 hours per week (100 hours total)
  • Rate: $40 USD per hour (paid by ACH or international wire from a US bank)
  • Tentative Start Date: Monday, February 17, 2025

Project Overview:
The consultant will be responsible for implementing Drata for a client transitioning from manual compliance processes. The project aims to optimize compliance automation and includes tasks such as:

  • Establishing foundational configurations
  • Integrating key systems and platforms
  • Streamlining personnel controls
  • Migrating compliance documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and configure Drata workspaces
  • Integrate engineering, infrastructure, and HR systems with Drata
  • Migrate manual evidence and documentation to Drata's automated features
  • Review and update policies, including privacy policy and terms of service
  • Assist with vendor management and due diligence
  • Upload and organize compliance documentation in Drata
  • Provide guidance on audit partner selection and penetration testing

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Drata implementation and configuration
  • In-depth knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with compliance automation tools and integrations
  • Familiarity with common HR, engineering, and infrastructure platforms
  • Background in cybersecurity consulting or compliance management
