The General Manager (GM) will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of the Freight Audit and Payment (FAP) division. The GM will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer value. Reporting into the Chief Customer Experience Officer (CCXO), the GM will lead a cross-functional team encompassing operations, services, customer support; in addition to supporting the sales, product, and marketing efforts.
The GM will play a critical role in enhancing customer retention, supporting the sales cycle, and collaborating on product innovation to meet market demands.
What a day in the life looks like:
• Global Strategic Leadership: Define and execute vision, pursue market expansion, and position FAP as an industry leader.
• International Team Management: Lead global teams, oversee contractor relationships, and foster a collaborative culture
• Operational Excellence: Optimize freight audit and payment processes, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
• Sales & Customer Retention: Support sales, enhance customer engagement, secure renewals, and identify upsell opportunities
• Product & Innovation: Align roadmap with market needs, introduce new solutions, and drive technological innovation
• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risks, and uphold security standards globally
What you bring to the team:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 3-5+ years in logistics, transportation, or freight audit & payment, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven ability to drive growth, efficiency, and service quality
• Experience supporting sales cycles and implementing retention strategies
• Strong financial acumen, data analysis skills, and understanding of industry trends & regulations
• Exceptional ability to lead teams, collaborate, and drive strategic initiatives

Salary range* 150 - 170K USD
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is based on evaluation during interview process, the candidates’ range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
