What does a successful Territory Manager do? 

As a Territory Manager, you play a crucial role in driving business growth and establishing strong relationships within the banking sector. This position focuses on territory management of the bank branch network, both generating new business and referrals within your portfolio, and prospecting for new opportunities outside of the bank. You will utilize a consultative sales approach to meet clients' needs, manage the entire sales cycle, and successfully close deals. 50% Travel within Quebec is required for this role.

What you will do:

  • Network with banking professionals to generate new business and develop your assigned territory by achieving and surpassing sales revenue goals through branch and commercial centre collaborations.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to identify client needs, propose optimal solutions, and present our SaaS solutions to potential clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with prospective clients to close opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of prospects with consistent follow-up efforts throughout various sales stages.
  • Build market presence by developing and closing new business relationships.

What you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in Merchant Services, Point-of-Sale, Software sales, or a similar field.
  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both French and English.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in networking and creating business relationships in a finance environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience in territory management.

Important info about this role:

  • This role will require a minimum of 50% travel within the provided territory.
  • In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in Canada without need for sponsorship now or in the future.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
