Job description

About Us

At Endor Labs, we're not just making waves; we're setting the new standard in application security! In our first year, we've already been named a Gartner Cool Vendor in Platform Engineering, an RSA Innovation Sandbox finalist, and a Black Hat Innovation Spotlight finalist. That’s how you know we’re redefining the future of security.

Founded by industry visionaries Varun Badhwar and Dimitri Stiliadis, Endor Labs is a powerhouse of innovation. With a monumental Series A round of 70M and a stellar team of talent, we’re not just participating in the industry—we’re revolutionizing it.

Our mission? To streamline security for developers and AppSec teams by cutting through the noise and focusing on what truly matters. We tackle risks across Open Source Software (OSS) and CI/CD pipelines with precision, slashing false positive rates by up to 80%. Ready to see what makes us tick? Dive into our 3-minute pitch from our Founder & CEO here

Sound interesting? Let’s talk if you want to be part of the next big leap in security innovation!

How You'll Make an Impact

As a member of the marketing team, your job has three equally important facets: content marketing, evangelism, and enablement.

  • Content Jedi Master: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing + Product) to drive educational and audience-grabbing content for technical and non audiences.
    • Videos (webinars)
    • Documentation (white papers)
    • Live events (conference presentations & workshops)
  • Spread Secure Code Awareness (AppSec Evangelism): You are the guiding light when it comes to educating the market and customers about Endor Labs and OSS Security. Actively engage with customers, the community and industry analysts at various events (both virtual and in person).
    • Travel ~15-25% of the year.
  • Be the Force of Enablement: Create technical analysis of competitors, reference architectures, and demos that help our Sales and Customer Success teams get prospects excited about Endor Labs. Due to your regular engagement with the community, you bring credible product feedback to sales and product management that drive active changes. And of course you’re critical to enabling the organization on new features and use cases.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Hands-On Technical Experience: You started your career as a developer or engineer and have working knowledge of the developer/DevOps ecosystems and practices.
    • This includes working with various developer + AppSec tools (e.g. GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, VScode) and a strong understanding of different programming languages and how they manage packages/open source components (Maven, npm, pip, etc).
    • You should be able to create basic demo applications that showcase Endor Labs’ capabilities.
  • Eagerness to Share Content: 4+ years of experience in independently producing B2B cybersecurity and/or developer marketing content as part of your core job.
    • You jump at the opportunity to speak at conferences, author blogs and other reports, and you know how to communicate at the right altitude for the audience.
  • General Marketing Curiosity: You might not have marketing experience (if you do, it’s a major plus), but you’re interested in learning about it, including everything from lead generation to social media.
  • A love for Cyber Security (specifically AppSec): Like with marketing, it’s okay if you don’t have direct experience in the AppSec field (though we hope you do!), but what you do need is an eagerness to embrace all things AppSec, specifically SCA, SAST, container scanning, and more.

Huge Pluses

  • Experience writing code/developing applications using open source components and/or making contributions to open source projects.
  • Hands on experience as an AppSec Engineer or at an OSS Security/AppSec Vendor
What We Offer You
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision and Mental Health plans.
  • 401(k) plan to support your longterm financial goals.
  • Flexible PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balance (we want you here for the long-haul!)
  • Opportunities for co-working and team meetups to foster collaboration.
  • A dog-friendly office environment for those who love to bring their fur babies along.

Endor Labs is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Even if you don't fit every requirement above, we believe in the power of diverse perspectives and experiences, so we encourage all talented individuals to apply—there's no one-size-fits-all here.

Endor Labs is a remote-first company, with team members distributed across various time zones. We believe in the flexibility of working remotely while also creating opportunities for in-person collaboration and learning when necessary.
