Draftsperson at Sourcefit

Position Overview:
The Draftsperson will play a critical role in the development and execution of detailed design drawings for physical and electronic security systems. This position requires proficiency in CAD software to create accurate and precise technical drawings that align with project requirements and industry standards. Working closely with the solutions and project teams, the Draftsperson will ensure that all security system designs, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, are meticulously planned and documented to facilitate smooth implementation and project execution.

• Monday to Friday | 5 AM to 2 PM Manila Time
• *Following Australian Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design drawings and technical plans for security systems, including but not limited to access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to gather specifications and design requirements, ensuring all aspects of the security systems are accurately represented.
• Revise and update drawings as required based on feedback, ensuring alignment with client needs, industry standards, and project goals.
• Ensure that all design documentation complies with relevant industry codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain version control and organization of design documents, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project records.
• Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues by providing technical drawings and recommendations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and methodologies.
• Support the project team with drawing-related queries and provide assistance during the implementation phase.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings and documentation to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, with the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of physical and electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Problem-solving skills to address design challenges and provide effective solutions.
