Job description

Data Solution Architect
Our direct Client has an immediate opening for a Data Focused Solution Architect. The individual will be part of a cross-application team working on a multiyear roadmap consisting of many projects that aim to transform the organization.

Design Responsibilities:
• IT Innovation and involvement in new technology evaluation as needed
• Participate in the delivery of technology strategy, architecture and design services in partnership with various groups within the organization
• Involved in enterprise-wide technical data architecture solutions and involved with the integration of specific architecture, Business, Information/Data, Applications Solutions.

Project Responsibilities:
• Provides technical guidance and provides input regarding Data Design and Data integration
• Work with various groups using standard practices, principles and building blocks for solution(s) needed
• Provide expertise to develop data solutions to streamline data needs among various business, technical, and integration groups

Experience Required:
• More than 7 years of strong development background within modern development environments, languages, and tools
• Understanding and experience with healthcare data – is a plus
• Solid technical development application and data design as well as solutions architecture background (may encompass enterprise architecture)
• Solid Database experience including Data access, design and modeling background. Deep understanding of database design principles, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Solid understanding of digital cloud technologies and environments
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling tools (e.g. Erwin, ERStudio or similar tool)
• Ability to learn and understand new technologies (e.g. Kafka) and build into designs
• Ability to draw architectural diagrams using tools like VIZIO, DrawIO, etc.
