Independent Corporate Contractor - Language QA Specialist

***This is a Corporate Contract Role.  Applicants must be located outside of the United States

Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day quality of the ASL and VRI programs. This position involves constant linguist communication to ensure they are meeting our client requirements and working with the quality team to ensure ASL quality reviews are executed and results communicated to the ASL. Listening to and evaluating live and recorded calls. Providing timely and constructive feedback to interpreters through coaching sessions, email outreach, and other tools. 

Responsibilities: 

• Acts as a backup interpreter
• Performs ongoing QA testing on VRI lines/interpreters by completing 5 test calls a day, checking backgrounds, etc
• Gives feedback on VRI equipment/office setup to interpreters on an as-needed basis
• Other QA duties as requested by manager
• Creates resources and webinar content, as specified by manager 
• Designs and facilitates an ASL Decompression Session or other methods of GLOBO and ASL integration
• Serves as a Relationship Manager with ASL Interpreters once they are on-boarded with GLOBO
• Acts as an Engagement Manager for active ASL interpreters
• Coordinates the quality reviews for ASL interpreters
• Provides ASL Interpreter support
• Coaches ASL interpreters in response to client feedback
• Evaluates ASL interpreters on a periodic basis
• Audits and updates VRI - ASL resources in GLOBO HQ
• Other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
• 1-3 years language quality experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite
• Experience with Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
