As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for the sourcing, procurement, and distribution of raw ingredients in Ollie’s recipes. You will source the highest quality produce and proteins, and play a vital role in vendor communications as a liaison between our manufacturers and food vendors. You will work to optimize our food supply chain, helping to scale our business as we continue to deliver on our margin and sustainability goals. The Sr. Sourcing Manager’s work is critical to delivering on our commitments to responsible sourcing, and to refining our impact strategy over the long term. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain.
This role is based remotely within the U.S. and will report to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain.
What You'll Do: Develop programs for procurement and vendor selection, including frameworks for vendor evaluation, engagement and RFP ownershipEstablish extensive professional knowledge of the US and global food supply chain through research and tools provided by Ollie, allowing for predictive pricing and forward-looking contract pricing to protect marginsUnderstand market indicators and anticipate changes in the marketBuild on our existing partnerships and develop new relationships with mission-driven farmers and distributors who offer traceable ingredients, sustainable practices, and animal welfareCommunicate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections to our vendors and manufacturersOversee analysis of supply chain effectiveness, vendor risk, and vendor performanceDevelop and execute our responsible sourcing standards in partnership with Ollie’s Chief Impact Officer (CIO)Who You Are: Experience working with teams in a fast paced, high growth environmentYou have a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously and self-sufficientlyRelationship development and deal negotiation experienceYou have a passion for sustainable food systems and a strong desire to make a positive impactThe ability to manage projects that have both clear and time-bound deliverables and areas of ambiguity with longer time horizonsYou have 5+ years’ experience working in food supply chain and or food operationsYou have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a strong academic performanceStrong communication and analytical skills both internally and externally What You'll Get:Competitive salary and a stake in the companySponsored 401k program with employer match up to 4%Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental and visionUnlimited vacation policy that you're encouraged to usePaid parental leave1-week paw-ternity leave for new dog parentsFree Ollie subscriptionInspiring pack members!What We Value:
