Job description

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee our global fleet operations. This critical role ensures efficient fleet management, aligns operations with company policies, and delivers an exceptional user experience to employees. You will play a strategic role in managing vendor relationships, driving cost efficiencies, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Job Details:

  • Work from Home
  • Monday to Friday I 9 PM to 6 AM (Manila Time)
  • Following U.S. Holidays

Responsibilities:

Fleet Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, service level standards, and pricing.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, ensuring consistent performance and value delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with fleet vendors, negotiating service improvements and cost savings where applicable.

Fleet Operations and Policy Implementation

  • Design and implement a comprehensive fleet management strategy that aligns with corporate goals.
  • Develop, update, and enforce fleet policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, safety, and corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operational execution.

Driver Support and Experience

  • Oversee third-party providers responsible for fleet driver support, ensuring a positive, seamless experience for all employees.
  • Act as the point of escalation for fleet-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly.

Training and Communication

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on fleet policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
  • Communicate updates and changes in fleet policies to relevant stakeholders effectively.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor fleet performance metrics, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements.
  • Provide detailed reports on fleet utilization, costs, compliance, and operational efficiency to senior management.

Subject Matter Expertise and Collaboration

  • Serve as the company’s expert on fleet management, offering guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Partner with various internal teams, including the Executive Team, to anticipate and meet current and future fleet needs.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in fleet management, logistics, or transportation (e.g., NAFA or CAFM certification) are a strong plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience, with at least 3 years specifically in fleet management.
  • Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry, but relevant backgrounds in consumer goods, telecommunications, or fleet service providers (e.g., Toyota Leasing) will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large fleets and vendor relationships, including outsourced partnerships.
