About the role ⚡🛠️
Be a part of InPost UK’s first internal field audit and installation team. You will work as part of a small team to ensure that parcel lockers are audited, installed and configured correctly and to the highest quality. In this on-the-road role, you’ll work alongside experienced electricians, 3rd party contractors and internal teams to learn the ropes related to installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our extensive parcel locker network.

📍 We are hiring 2x roles in the North and South of England. A home base close to Heathrow (South) or Warrington (North) is required.
🚗 You will need a full, clean driver’s license and access to your own vehicle. A car allowance is included in the package. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Full on-the-job training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist in the physical installation of parcel locker systems at designated sites, including audits, troubleshooting and maintenance scopes.
Set up electrical and communication connections under the supervision of licensed electricians or senior technicians.
Ensure all installations are carried out according to InPost’s specifications and safety guidelines.
Work closely with the electrical team to transport tools, materials, and locker parts to and from job sites.
Conduct basic testing and inspections of installed lockers to verify functionality and troubleshoot any initial issues.
Assist with software setup and configuration of parcel locker systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
Maintain and organise installation equipment and tools to ensure efficiency on the job site.
Document installation progress, site conditions, and any issues encountered during the project.
Follow safety protocols and ensure the site is safe for the team and the public at all times.
Provide excellent customer service during installations, ensuring minimal disruption to the site and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Follow processes and technical specifications to ensure the proper installation of locker components.
Conduct system tests to verify electrical connections, ensuring all locker systems are operational.
Provide support for ongoing maintenance and any electrical repairs post-installation.

Additional requirements:
School qualification to GCSE level.
A full, clean driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to lift heavy objects, operate hand and power tools, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Ability to travel to various installation sites as required.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and team members professionally.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Bonus points:
Some experience in installation or construction is preferred but not required.
Technical training or certifications are a plus.
Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems is a plus but not required.
Note: PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided, and safety standards must be adhered to at all times.
