Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description for Sales Team Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Input quotes into the company’s system accurately and efficiently
  • Follow up with clients to gather crucial event details, working closely with account managers and salespeople
  • Collect and organize event information including timings, run sheets, and floor plans
  • Enter data into the system to ensure the operations team has all necessary information
  • Build lists for the business development manager to support sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to gather job information, testimonials, and marketing materials
  • Assist in putting together event packages for clients
  • Conduct follow-ups primarily via email, with occasional phone calls as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a sales or events-related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Scope:

  • Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm NSW with 1 hour unpaid break
  • Report to and support multiple people within the sales team
  • Primarily office-based work with potential for remote flexibility
  • No creative work required; focus on operational and administrative tasks
