About the Role:

As a Business Development Representative at Toppan Merrill, you will drive developed leads into our sales pipeline. Your primary focus will be securing meetings and developing opportunities for our traditional proxy and compliance platform services.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect approximately 250 to 500 public companies through high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Schedule discovery meetings to ensure prospect buying needs align with our service offerings.
  • Qualify and nurture leads, including conducting online demonstrations of our services.
  • Assist with follow-up and proposal development (as required).
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.
  • Ensure all prospect, client, and opportunity data is up-to-date, and all interactions are documented.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Business-to-Business Sales (Business Development) and at least 4 years of experience selling SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com Sales Cloud CRM is preferred.
  • Expertise in demand generation and account expansion into new markets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Positive, upbeat, and outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport with clients and prospects.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Phone-based selling experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Social media proficiency.
