If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for a SOX Compliance Associate (Permanent Work from home) to join our Internal Audit & SOX Compliance team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and improving key business workflows, supporting the integration of newly acquired companies, and ensuring our financial reporting meets required standards. You'll also assist with important quarterly and annual compliance checks while contributing to other projects that help keep our financial operations running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with the SOX Compliance Team Lead to review and document key financial and operational processes, identifying potential risks and ensuring everything is well-documented.
- Make sure the company's internal checks and controls are properly designed and working as they should to meet regulatory requirements.
- Look for ways to improve and streamline compliance processes.
- Manage and optimize the internal audit system to keep everything organized and running smoothly.
- Test automated systems to ensure they work correctly and help prevent potential risks.
- Analyze data to spot patterns, identify any issues, and find ways to strengthen compliance efforts.
- Assist with special projects, including helping integrate new companies into our financial and compliance processes.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- CPA or CIA certification (or currently working toward one)
- Previous experience in auditing, accounting, or a related field
- Understanding of SOX compliance principles
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong attention to detail in complex tasks and reviews
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
