Job description

As a Game Economy Manager, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing the in-game economy to maximize player engagement, retention, and monetization. You will analyze player behavior, forecast economic trends, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance the overall gaming experience.

You will...

  • Design and oversee the user experience from an economic perspective, forecasting player behavior and engagement
  • Develop simulations to predict the impact of content updates on the game economy
  • Continuously monitor both individual and macro-level player balances to maintain a healthy and enjoyable in-game economy
  • Conduct A/B testing to evaluate content performance and optimize economic strategies
  • Work closely with Product and Monetization teams to balance and refine existing features while introducing new economic mechanics

Requirements

What makes you a great candidate?

  • +1 year experience as a Game Economy Analyst or Data Analyst within the gaming industry
  • Strong background in Data Analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns
  • Passion for mobile gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior and game economies
