Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Work Schedule: Flexible hours, mostly at night prefer 8pm - 12AM mon- Friday (20 hours a week)
Location: Fort Lee, NJ, 07024

Key Responsibilities
• Edit videos creatively and professionally, aligning with the client’s vision and brand guidelines.

• Add subtitles in both Mandarin and English, ensuring accuracy and timing.

• Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, and transitions to enhance the final product.

• Color-correct and audio-mix videos to meet professional standards.

• Manage video edits through feedback cycles using platforms like Frame.io.

• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and video editing techniques to create content that engages audiences.

Requirements

Language Proficiency: Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal skills in both languages.
Video Editing Expertise: 2+ years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing creative and high-quality work.
Subtitling Skills: Proven ability to add accurate and well-timed subtitles in both Mandarin and English.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Motion Graphics Knowledge: Experience with motion graphics and effects using tools like After Effects.
Audio & Color Correction: Strong skills in audio mixing and color correction to meet professional standards.
Social Media Awareness: Knowledge of social media trends and video formats for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Project Management Tools: Familiarity with feedback tools like Frame.io for collaborative editing processes.
Creativity: A strong eye for design, composition, and storytelling to produce engaging content.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and incorporate feedback effectively.

Scope of Work

Video Editing:

Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content that aligns with client brand guidelines and objectives.
Add motion graphics, transitions, and special effects to enhance visual appeal.

Subtitling:

Create and synchronize subtitles in both Mandarin and English to ensure accessibility and audience engagement.

Post-Production:

Perform audio mixing and color correction to meet professional-quality standards.
Review feedback and iterate edits as needed using tools like Frame.io.

Trend Awareness:

Stay informed on the latest video editing techniques and social media trends to produce content that resonates with target audiences.
