Position: Product Sales Specialist, Lithium

Report to Title: General Manager, TBS

Location: Remote (Must live near Atlanta, GA)

Position Overview

The Product Sales Specialist, Lithium is responsible for developing and driving the growth of our lithium battery products by developing customer pipelines, building relationships, and supporting local sales teams. As a lithium product expert, you will engage customers, deliver product demonstrations, provide training, onboard new clients, and ensure smooth business operations while serving as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Create new pipelines of new customers to sell specifically the lithium batteries
  • Ability to travel across the US to help build relationships and identify and develop new business while working with the local sales representatives to help expand lithium products in sales representative's territories
  • Build knowledge on what drives purchases in targeted customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding the products, conducting demonstrations, and explaining product benefits. Have a deeper knowledge of lithium product you are selling so you can demonstrate to the new business customers the know how of why this product would benefit them
  • Onboard new customers – establish business flow, ensure all facets of sales process have gone through the correct channels for approval and that internal teams are informed on order and delivery process
  • Become recognized as a product knowledge expert for the Lithium-ion battery, internally and externally
  • Train C&D / TBS employees, agents and customers on battery installation and maintenance procedures for Lithium-ion
  • Provide customers with follow-up communication
  • Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports
  • Handle administrative duties such as: filing expense accounts, scheduling appointments, and making travel plans
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Develop credibility and build relationships with clients
     

Basic Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Good communication skills
  • Goal-oriented, persuasive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team to implement business development initiatives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Class C Driver’s License
  • Must have a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of technical sales experience
  • Problem solver and removes obstacles before they become roadblocks
  • Drive to win sales and desire to work with customers
  • Result oriented with strong collaboration skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Program management ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travel requirements are 50% minimum
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
