The Provider Operations team’s mission is to build, retain, and empower the most diverse, high-quality provider community to drive member delight and clinical outcomes. The Associate Director of Clinical Recruiting is responsible for the leadership of our rapidly growing and evolving Clinical Recruiting team. This person deeply understands the dynamics of Spring Health growth, provider capacity, recruiting processes & operations, and the provider market and landscape. They will work cross-functionally to ensure we’re building a provider network to meet all existing and future member care needs. This person will report into the Senior Director of Network Growth Operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drives all top-down strategic decision-making for Clinical Recruiting function, from operational and organizational needs to changes in recruitment strategy to data and reporting needs
- Collaborate with our BI and Analytics teams to develop and evolve provider hiring forecasting models
- Monitor provider capacity and collaborate cross-functionally to strategize and execute on creative and forward-thinking provider growth tactics
- Develop and maintain mental health provider market analyses and research to inform growth strategies and internal operations (e.g. provider rate adjustment proposals)
- Lead the process by which we assess, gain leadership buy-in to employ, and operationalize new types of provider partnerships (e.g. dedicated, part-time, group practices)
- Develop scalable member preference reporting and analyses to inform diversity-driven provider growth strategies (e.g. interest in in-person care, importance of race/ethnicity, etc.)
- Research and implement new tools, including AI-driven solutions, to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and support the team’s scalability
- Identify opportunities to optimize recruiting workflows and implement process improvements that reduce time-to-hire and increase quality
- Monitor trends and best practices in clinical recruiting and mental health provider hiring to keep strategies innovative and competitive
- Lead ongoing process improvement exercises for our rapidly scaling Clinical Recruiting team (e.g. new ATS assessments/implementations, hiring prioritization tools/processes)
- Represents Clinical Recruiting in external discussions, including outlining provider recruitment strategy to customers; coordinates provider growth content for customer launch updates
- Guide internal team members and cross-functional partners to improve Clinical Recruiting reporting and dashboarding, as we drive towards high quality and increased efficiency
- Leads headcount planning for Clinical Recruiting, including business case development for alignment with C-suite, Finance, and People
What success looks like in this role:
- Hiring Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly hiring targets for clinical roles.
- Time to Fill: Maintain average time-to-fill for open clinical positions.
- Provider Quality Metrics: Ensure providers meet or exceed established quality benchmarks
- Cost Per Hire: Optimize recruiting processes to maintain cost per hire
- Team Performance: Drive team performance to achieve company engagement goals and individual performance

The target base salary range for this position is $132,695 - $169,375, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
