Assume a leadership role in developing project management standards and processes, helping build an evolving center of excellence. Provide project management for assigned projects of a more complex nature with limited oversight. Accountable for delivering assurance that assigned projects are being completed within schedule, budget and scope while achieving the project and business objectives.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager: $90,000.00+
Pay commensurate with experience.

Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
Manages projects, consulting engagements, monitoring trends and best practices and applying them where appropriate to projects.
Assists in implementing and maintaining procedures for planning, scoping, performing and reporting on projects.
Works with the Program Manager and Program Director to track project budgets, EACs, and generate subcontracts, as necessary.
Manage and oversee numerous environmental compliance and remediation task orders for federal clients, while providing exceptional customer service.
Ensure and oversee project health and safety requirements to maintain compliance with all federal contracts.
Works with stakeholders to development scope and objectives and grow relationships for future programs.
Works with project team to develop project schedules, field forms, and ensure deliverable schedules are met for the client.
Maintain daily communication with clients and stakeholders for on-going projects and share updates, as necessary.
Review technical reports, provide feedback, and ensure deliverables meet contract requirements listed in the scope of work.
Maintain and possess working knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Completes work in a timely manner in order to meet established project deadlines.
Tracks issue identification and resolution.
Responsible for issue escalation as necessary.
Facilitates project communication and coordination across the project team.
Prepares agendas and takes notes from project meetings.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in an environmental field and a minimum of 8 to 10 years work experience in project management, environmental consulting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in MS Office- Outlook, Excel, Word, Access and Adobe Pro.
Knowledge and experience working with SalesForce preferred.
Experience performing sampling for various medias and analyzing sample results.
Ability to pass all required background checks required for working with federal clients and gaining Installation access.
Experience working with government clients and stakeholders.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
