What is the opportunity?


Riparian is seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Contracting to join our Consulting team. As a Consulting Senior Manager on our team, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment to create insights and value for clients.


How will you make an impact?


As a Senior Manager in Commercial Contracting, you'll be at the forefront of our client relationships, driving insights and delivering actionable solutions. You will:


  • Lead consulting engagements that support clients in negotiating and managing Market Access agreements, including contracts with Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, and various commercial partners.
  • Develop and refine contract strategies for our clients, advising on key terms and conditions to ensure favorable business outcomes.
  • Oversee the entire contracting lifecycle, from negotiation support to contract execution and management.
  • Provide clients with customized recommendations to enhance their contracting processes and strategies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, while actively supporting business development efforts, including proposal development and marketing initiatives.

We're searching for someone with the expertise and drive to make a difference. To be successful in this role, you'll need:


  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Proven expertise in Market Access and commercial contracting, with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards.
  • Strong skills in contract drafting, along with the ability to interpret and communicate complex terms to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and a solid grasp of the implications of contracts on government pricing and gross-to-net calculations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize effectively and provide proactive solutions.
  • Willingness to travel, as required, to meet client needs and project requirements.
