Your Day Might Look Like
As a D365 F&O Functional Consultant, your day-to-day activities may include:
- Driving Success: Deliver consulting services to implement or support Dynamics 365 F&O, focusing on core Finance modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Project Management Accounting.
- Analyzing and Innovating: Work closely with clients to understand, document, and transform their business processes.
- Tailoring Solutions: Conduct fit/gap analyses, configure the Dynamics 365 environment, and collaborate with technical teams to implement customizations.
- Empowering Users: Provide training and ongoing support to ensure clients maximize their solution's value.
- Ongoing Support: Serve as a trusted advisor for clients, offering email/phone assistance and on-site visits as needed.
- Leveraging Proven Methodologies: Utilize Velosio's RightPath implementation methodology to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
- Continuing Your Growth: Stay ahead in the industry by pursuing relevant Microsoft certifications.
What You'll Bring
- Hands-On Experience: At least three years of full-cycle implementation experience with Dynamics 365 F&O (preferred) or Dynamics AX.
- Finance Expertise: Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, FA). A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (MS DevOps, Power Platform, Office 365) and leading ISV solutions.
- Consultative Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire clients.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: A results-driven mindset with a knack for meeting deadlines and delivering creative solutions.
- Flexibility: Ability to work remotely and travel as required.
- Certification: Already certified or willing to achieve MB-310: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate within six months.
