Job Summary & Responsibilities:

The individual in this role is responsible for the further development, implementation, management and execution of an effective strategy (and corresponding marketing plan) to continue driving the successful achievement of our commercial objectives tied to the PDN market opportunity. The individual will have significant interaction with the broader marketing organization, professional education and the field-based sales force, and must work collaboratively to create plans and ensure that the launch is well executed cross-functionally. This position reports to the Sr. Director, HCP Marketing.

 

    • Develop and drive a comprehensive launch strategy including plans for customer segmentation, product positioning, patient awareness, referral development, payer marketing, societal engagement and KOL advocacy.
    • Develop downstream activities and execute agreed upon commercial plans in conjunction with Sales, Upstream Marketing, Med-Ed and Sales Excellence.
    • Analyze business to understand trends and drive recommendations to improve execution of strategic plans.
    • Collect customer insights and competitive intelligence and incorporate into ongoing marketing plans.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers.
    • Develop strong credibility with sales team and customers through procedural, product, and competitor/competitive therapy knowledge.
    • Partner with Sales Excellence to ensure the effective training of the sales team.
    • Ensure that all marketing activities conform to company guidelines and local laws.
    • Other duties as assigned.

 

Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in medical device or biotech marketing
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Direct experience and responsibility of successfully managing a multi hundred-million-dollar business in a competitive market.
  • Experience developing and launching into new markets.
  • Prior diabetes and market development experience.
  • Downstream marketing experience in a highly competitive medical device market.
  • Strong team player who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to speak up when important information or questions must be raised and takes action when issues must be addressed.
  • Strong and creative thinker who is intellectually curious.
  • Sound decision making capabilities.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership.
  • Ability to work in hospitals, operating rooms, clinics, and surgical centers.
  • Domestic and international travel up to 50%.
Target Pay Range:

$160,654 - $220,900. The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
