The Job
As the Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in making LucidLink the essential Storage Collaboration platform for the Creative Industries and expand into new data-intensive verticals. You will craft a compelling narrative that owns LucidLink’s differentiation, grow a full-funnel content engine to feed our SLG and PLG growth motions, and scale product launch capabilities to drive awareness, adoption, and retention for major product releases planned in 2025 and beyond. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, deep collaboration with Sales and Product, and hands-on execution. It will report directly to the VP of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Product Differentiation and Category Leadership:
Define and position LucidLink’s leadership in the Storage Collaboration category, leveraging insights from customers, competitors and thought leaders to craft a market-leading narrative.
Develop frameworks that highlight LucidLink’s unique value, connecting product capabilities to the specific pain points and goals of our ICPs.
Develop an Insight-Driven Content Engine:
Build a scalable ICP/Persona-driven content strategy that engages target audiences at every stage of the funnel to grow sales pipeline and velocity.
Lead the content marketing team to create compelling product stories, customer success stories, and UGC-driven campaigns to drive organic growth and awareness.
Scale Launch and Campaign Excellence:
Lead the strategy and execution for small features releases and two major launch activations per year, achieving measurable adoption milestones and enabling cross-functional alignment.
Drive co-marketing efforts that extend LucidLink’s reach through its community of customers, strategic partners and developer ecosystem.
Amplify Customer Insights Across the Business:
Launch and oversee a Voice of the Customer program in partnership with the Community team, ensuring insights inform the roadmap and resonate in messaging across Sales and Marketing.
Partner with Product teams to deliver customer-first innovations, ensuring feedback loops continuously improve adoption and satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing Team Enablement:
Equip Sales with world-class enablement materials—battle cards, ROI tools, competitive analysis—to drive a 20% improvement in close rates.
Foster operational efficiency by mentoring Marketing team members and implementing best practices from high-growth SaaS companies.
Job Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years in Product Marketing, with a proven track record leading and scaling teams at high growth B2B SaaS companies from Series C onwards.
Multi-Motion GTM: Proven track record of building and managing GTM functions in complex B2B SaaS environments with a Sales-led growth motion. Experience in PLG as well is a bonus.
Strategic Vision: Deep understanding of category creation and building product differentiation that creates an edge in competitive SaaS markets.
Customer Obsession: Passionate about understanding customer pain points and leveraging insights to shape positioning and go-to-market strategies that deliver instant relevance and credibility.
Storytelling Excellence: Exceptional ability to translate complex product features into compelling, relatable narratives that inspire action across both technical and non-technical audiences.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to align and build with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver shared ownership of goals.
Data-Informed Decision-Maker: Expertise in leveraging analytics (Amplitude, Salesforce, Marketo, ZoomInfo), customer feedback, and market research to inform strategy and measure success.
Operational Execution: Demonstrated skill in driving efficiency through process and technology implementation from ideation to execution.
