About The Opportunity

Ellucian is on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Banner Financial Aid Consultant to join our North American Professional Services team. In this role, you'll lead the charge in implementing our cutting-edge administrative solutions for colleges and universities. You'll be at the forefront of transforming higher education, leveraging your deep expertise in the Banner Financial Aid Information System, including Application Processing, Requirements Tracking, Budgeting, Funds Management, Packaging, Disbursement, Federal Program Management, Self Service, and Satisfactory Academic Progress. Bonus points if you understand how Financial Aid contributes to the overall Student Financial Success and Accounts Receivable Modules!

  • Analyze and Organize: Identify, clarify, and organize system requirements for financial aid rule writing, creating use cases and specification parameters for development peers.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work with Professional Services teammates to improve processes, maintain service artifacts, and promote best practices.
  • Measure Success: Your success will be gauged by customer satisfaction, achievement of project goals, and utilization targets.

  • Expertise in Banner: 3-5+ years of experience in Banner Financial Aid modules mentioned above.
  • Continuous Learning: A willingness to expand your knowledge across other Ellucian solutions.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders and project leaders, both internally and externally.
  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Creativity, critical thinking, and a strong work ethic to enable delivery readiness, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
  • Prioritization Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact and time constraints.
  • Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to deliver services.
