Job description

Overview:

FedWriters is building a team to use digital service best practices to provide an optimized customer experience to visitors of Travel.State.Gov (TSG), the Bureau of Consular Affairs' flagship website with over 600 million page views per year. As a Product Manager, you will serve as direct liaison to the CA product team and be responsible for supervision and management of all Contractor's personnel.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This full-time remote position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional agile teams in iterative development and release of enhanced TSG functionality
Manage product backlog and release schedule, incorporating user feedback and research
Collaborate with government stakeholders to validate and refine product vision
Oversee sprint planning, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies
Ensure delivery meets accessibility requirements including Section 508 compliance
Drive data-informed decisions through analytics and user research
Manage stakeholder relationships across Bureau of Consular Affairs business units

Qualifications:

5+ years experience leading agile product development teams
Understanding of human-centered design and user research methodologies
Experience with accessibility requirements and inclusive design practices
Must possess MRPT (Moderate Risk Public Trust) clearance
