Job Description:

Responsible for looking after the whole sales funnel from a supply point of view in assigned area from the activation of the related quotation (from a SFDC opportunity generated by the Demand)/ bid and proposal/tendering stage to price setting with the objective of speeding up the decision-making process and price decisions. This role is also instrumental for cross-factory bid and/or cross-hub tenders’ coordination.

Responsible for coordinating Application Engineering and Factory Engineering Teams to influence technical specs

It might embed complex Project Management by coordinating both HUB and Factory customer care teams to make sure we are always showing one ABB face/voice to our Customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct market research studies and perform related analyses involving sales, trends and market development potential. Identify, quantify, and make recommendations regarding market price, customer delivery requirements, quality, and other factors involving products and services that may substantially impact the Company's future business prospects.
  • Identify and evaluate new product, product improvement and new business opportunities. Assist Sales, Engineering, and other organizations in developing and implementing strategies to capture additional sales and market share and increase profits. Work with and counsel management to facilitate development of the Company's business plan and provide periodic updates.
  • Develop and implement marketing communications and advertising plans that clearly identify the Company's products, services, image, and other factors to increase sales and the Company's reputation.
  • Develop strategic profiles of key and potential competitors, and forecast markets, business volume and market share. Provide marketing support for corporate strategic planning.
  • Coordinate activities and provide direction to less experienced staff members.
  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders. Look after Customer relationship by showcasing the factory(s) on a regular basis and acts on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Support other HUB functions: she/he might act as Risk Review delegate within HUB NAM Transformers group.
  • Creates, plans and ensures implementation of the regional go-to–market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the Global and HUB Product Marketing strategy including early pursuit engagement by pulling in from the Application Engineering Teams and Factory Engineering Teams to influence specs and drive value creation.

Job Requirements:
