Job description

NTT DATA Services currently seeks Remote Patient Account Reps to join our team for a 6+ month contract role.

Pay Rate: $18.49 per hour

The AR Representative is charged with maximizing cash flow by making outbound calls on patient accounts.

This role is essential to ensuring patient financial services are handled properly. The Accounts Receivable Specialist position is responsible for helping patients understand their pharmaceutical charges and assist in resolving any resident questions or concerns.
 
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will:

  • Collect information and verify account specific billing, insurance and coding.
  • Update and document customer accounts designated in work campaign.
  • Verify accuracy of existing account standing and progress accounts accordingly.
  • Conduct outbound calls to reconcile account issues and outstanding account balances.
  • Ensure compliance through strict adherence to federal and state laws, as well as company policy.
  • Payment processing and post follow-up.
  • Participate in corporate campaign strategies to further leadership led initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Utilizing multiple software systems
• Meeting or exceeding government mandated timelines
• Complying with turnaround time, productivity and quality standards
• Conveying resolution to beneficiary or provider via direct communication and professional correspondence
• Acquiring and maintaining basic knowledge of relevant and changing Med D guidance
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally with members and prescribers while managing multiple software systems
• Ability to execute successfully in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced, highly-regulated environment
• Proficient in navigation of multiple computer applications
• Proficient use of keyboard, mouse and ability to navigate 2 workstation monitors

Experience:
  • 2+ years Insurance Collections in a Healthcare environment
  • 2+ Years Patient Collections in a Healthcare environment
  • 2+ Years Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel in an working environment
  • 1+ Year Knowledge of Medicare Part D.
Education:
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $18.49 per hour.. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
