OVERVIEW:

The Canton Group is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and lifecycle of our products, from ideation to launch and beyond. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the product development process from conception to launch, including defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define success metrics.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and updates.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points through user research, feedback analysis, and data-driven insights.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of product initiatives.
  • Drive product adoption and engagement through effective communication, training, and support strategies.
  • Continuously iterate and improve products based on user feedback, market dynamics, and business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
  • Continuously gather feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members to iterate on the product and make improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact product development and delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date product documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and product roadmaps.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on election technology or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products.
  • Deep understanding of the election technology landscape and industry trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).
  • Passion for innovation, technology, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must thrive in a collaborative work environment and be comfortable seeking input from other team members.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Elections Management experience.
  • Experience in elections technology, and standards
  • Knowledge of election administration processes and regulations.
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud product
  • Experience with compliance and election and voting standards
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience working with government or public sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
  • May be required to work on-call or long hours, if necessary, in case of serious network malfunction.
