Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
The KBB Instant Cash Offer (ICO) Client Training Manager (CTM) is responsible for providing dynamic and engaging in-store implementations of assigned Cox Automotive products by executing our approved best-in-class dealer training processes with the goal of increasing client adoption of Cox Auto products and ensuring dealers are set up for success from the start.
The CTM is responsible for maintaining acceptable Service Level Agreements through new dealer onboarding, follow-up training, at-risk training, etc. The CTM is also responsible for implementing a target number of dealers per month, with the balance of time handling duties as assigned by ICO management for existing clients. This role is also responsible for assisting in the development of our internal CAI team’s knowledge and use of all products and working closely with the vAuto Performance Managers (PM) and sales teams.
The CTM is also responsible for assisting CAI’s Automotive Groups/Major Accounts in establishing a KBB ICO footprint in their organizations. The CTM will be the main point of contact within the Senior Client Training team with the day-to-day issues/concerns.
What You'll Do
• Effectively onboard new dealers using the approved Cox Automotive products processes, tools, and behaviors into an existing dealer location and /or group
• Engage in high-profile implementation planning with external Executives, Dealership owners, general management, and store-level personnel
• Work with assigned ‘at risk’ clients; determine action plan(s) to turnaround and retain for success
• Identify areas of need for additional “value resources” to maintain the success of client progress/results
• Be a main point of contact for Sr. ICs within the KBB ICO team
• Leads projects with clients and team members to gather and analyze customer requirements
• Makes recommendations that assist Major Accounts and Automotive Groups in achieving their goals and objectives while leveraging best practices and professional experiences
• Resolve moderate-level issues with little assistance
• Works on complex projects that require subject matter expertise across multiple functional areas, operations, or processes
• Facilitate communication with other departments as needed to ensure customer needs are met
• Engage and participate in the exchange of ‘best practices’ across the organization
• Prepare and communicate approved summary reports with appropriate documentation
• Communicates department findings to internal/external parties
• May be responsible for assisting in the development of less experienced team members by advising them on the identification and documentation of current practices and mentoring them on the completion of projects
• Obtains and maintains a working knowledge of Cox Automotive technology applications, customers, and business units
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right
candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years’
experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year experience in a related field; or 10 years’ experience in a
related field
• 1+ year of experience in management or lead role
• 7+ years of experience in retail automotive (dealership) or a combination of experience in:
- Retail automotive (dealership)
- Like and relevant consultative Sales experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented with the ability to solve complex problems and make sound, strategic decisions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and interaction skills required with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the position's duties successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
Preferred
• Experience in the automobile or auction industry
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Lead or Senior Client Trainer role
