Overview:
We are seeking to fill the role of Senior HR Reporting & Compensation Analyst. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys managing and analyzing HR data to help streamline processes and make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
HR Analytics
• Analyze and interpret people data to provide insights that drive HR strategy and decision making.
• Produce bi-weekly overtime utilization reports and compare against time and other utilization reports and identify areas of concern.
• Develop and maintain regular HR reports including weekly headcount and complex hierarchy structure reports, and monthly dashboards to track workforce trends, turnover, and performance indicators.
• Respond and report data analytics for client audits, regulatory and reporting agencies.
• Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve business processes, increase data integrity, and provide quality customer service to business partners.
• Prepare and distribute eligibility files for non-automated employee engagement programs and non-automated software programs/initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and automate routine tasks.
• Assist with employee rating calibration reporting processes during Performance Review cycles.
• Develop dashboards to capture new hire and exit survey responses that provides actionable insight.
Compensation
• Assist in conducting market data analysis and completing compensation survey programs.
• Evaluate and market price positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons to make salary recommendations to ensure alignment of the compensation structure.
• Assist operations managers with creating new job descriptions and benchmarking salary data.
• Assist in maintaining the job description library, tracking edits, versions and ensuring that all job descriptions meet legal requirements.
• Maintain and update the salary data report.
• Provide pay support and advice on new hires, promotions, and transfers for positions throughout the organization; work with recruiting as necessary on offers.
• Prepares cost assessments and other reports for management and assists in providing recommendations to HR and Operations leaders.
• Conducts internal pay audits and analyzes pay data as needed to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
• Participates in the annual merit process.
• Assists in creating new compensation related processes to better support the business needs.
• Assist with conducting desk audits and other processes to ensure job duties align with job descriptions.
• Stays current on industry compensation practices and legal issues, assessing and communicating potential business impacts.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources or related field.
• 10+ years of broad HR experience with at least 5+ years’ experience in compensation analysis and 3+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist/Business Partner with a broad understanding of HR functions, organizational structures and HR strategy.
• Intermediate to advanced mathematical skills.
• Expert level Microsoft Excel to include charts, graphs, pivot tables, vlookups and complex formulas.
• Proficient with HR applications within Workday and/or other HRIS.
o Strong understanding of HRIS employee records and the ability to identify and resolve input errors, title discrepancies, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of compensation laws and regulations, including FLSA.
• 2-4 years’ experience in market survey participation, benchmarking data and integrating market survey data into compensation reports.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from President to entry level staff.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Demonstrated organization and project management skills, including ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
• Certified Compensation Professional.
• Experience with compensation program design.
• Experience with Aon/Radford benchmarking and surveys
• PowerBI.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions of (Power Query, Macros and VBA scripting).
• Previous experience with Oracle HRIS.
• Proficient in Workday HRM, and Workday Analytics and Reporting.
