CallMiner is the industry leader in AI powered conversation intelligence, and we are currently looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our North American team and help us achieve our growth goals. BDRs are responsible for working closely with their sales counterpart to identify, qualify, and progress new opportunities ultimately leading to closed deals and new customers. Being a BDR is one of the best ways to accelerate your career with advancement pathways into sales, marketing, customer success, and channel alliances. Many of the best CROs and CMOs in SaaS companies were a BDR early in their career.
In This Role You Will:
- Collaborate with your Sales team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for their territories.
- Work with Sales Directors to blueprint key accounts in the territory
- Follow up on leads generated by marketing activity and work with your Sales Director to perform Account Based Marketing outbound efforts into key accounts.
- Perform outreach research and prospecting into key accounts to set up discovery calls and demos
- Run discovery calls on certain accounts identified by your Sales Director
- Work with Sales Directors to follow up on and drive deals to their next phase
- Identify expansion opportunities for our largest and most strategic customers
- Assist with and participate in industry events
- Work with Sales Directors and Marketing to inform and source sales enablement collateral and outreach messaging
Requirements
Who You Are - Remote Opportunity: 100% remote
- A self-starter with a competitive mindset and a proven track record of hitting and exceeding goals
- Proven time management skills and ability to work either independently or through coaching
- A fast learner who is extremely coachable both during onboarding and beyond
- Excellent communication skills including both phone and written communication and pipeline development skills, with experience successfully applying these skills in previous inside sales (BDR, SDR) roles
- Phenomenal character with an incredible drive for success, high work ethic, curious by nature and obsessed with exceeding sales goals
- Ability to gather critical qualifying information as part of early-stage interactions with prospects
- Ability to easily communicate the business value driven by a portfolio solution to both technical and business customers
- Experience using Salesforce.com and other software typically used by BDRs (Outreach, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, etc)
- Desire to work in a competitive and fast-paced environment
