Business Development Manager / Country Director (Uganda)

Our goals are to provide an all-rounded solution to facilitate the easiest access to finance and asset management products with our state-of-the-art technology (powered by Blockchain) and global coverage. The team is a group of talents from technology, market making and venture capital backgrounds.

We are expanding across Africa and Uganda is a key country within the region.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the setup of local entity, opening bank accounts, FX broker accounts, exchange accounts, and onboard with payment processors
• Work closely with global operation team for the local operation
• As a local representative, building up the relationship with banks, brokers, exchanges, merchants and payment processors
• Develop FX payments trading business targeting HNW investors, institutional investors or merchants, and individual traders in the local market
• Proactively stay up to date about market trends, opportunities, risk and new projects, with a passion for the FX payments industry
• Appoint as nominee director of the local entity
• Handle local company secretary / administrative tasks
  
  

Requirements

• Prior work experience in the banking, FX with a firm understanding of trading products and trade life cycles
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, and organizational skills
• Flexible mindset to adapt to fast-changing market and new work tasks
• Detail oriented, multi-tasking and able to handle various projects independently
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
