Job Title: Medical Virtual Assistant - Medical Receptionist (VC_Lakeline)


Position Type: Part-time Employment


Work Schedule:


Hours: 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM CST

Days: Monday to Friday

Compensation: $5 - $6 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary:


We are seeking a personable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to serve as a Medical Receptionist and Administrative Support Specialist for our practice. The ideal candidate will support both our patients and providers, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Patient Care Coordination 


  • Act as a primary point of contact for patients via phone, email, and CHARM EHR intraoffice messaging.
  • Provide clear instructions and answer basic questions regarding lab testing, sample collection, and blood draw procedures.
  • Coordinate with laboratories (Vibrant America, LabCorp, Evexia Diagnostics) for testing, results, and draw details.


Administrative Support


  • Schedule appointments, triage calls, and assist with patient inquiries.
  • Maintain organized records and manage communications using CHARM EHR.
  • Perform general medical administrative tasks to support providers.


Technology Tools


  • Utilize CHARM EHR, Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Word), Google Workspace (Docs, Drive), and PowerPoint.
  • Communicate effectively through Google Voice and other digital tools as required.


Professional Skills


  • Provide a warm, family-oriented experience for patients while maintaining professionalism.
  • Demonstrate clear and personable communication over the phone.


Qualifications:


  • Experience in medical administration, reception, or patient care coordination is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CHARM EHR or similar electronic health record systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


Basic requirements


  • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
  • Must have RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE 
  • Be able to submit an NBI clearance or Local Police Clearance background check if requested
  • Must be available for video meetings with your camera on
  • Must have NO other clients during required work hours


Technical requirements


  • Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps).
  • Audio: Noise-canceling headset.
  • Video: Webcam for virtual meetings.
  • Workspace: Quiet, professional environment.
