Oracle EPM Data Integrations Architect

Job Summary

Argano is seeking an experienced Data Integrations Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud Data Integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of data integrations & process orchestrations, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with client stakeholders & project team members to deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet business requirements.

Data Integrations Core Business Process Interactions (Assumes all business process within suite):

  • Consolidations
  • Planning
  • Reconciliations
  • Tax Reporting
  • Enterprise Data Management (EDM)

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design and develop data integration solutions for Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (Consolidations), Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud (Planning), Oracle Account Reconciliation (Reconciliations), and Oracle Tax Reporting (Tax) applications.
  • Architect, design and develop master data integration solutions, leveraging Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM), for Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (Consolidations), Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud (Planning), Oracle Account Reconciliation (Reconciliations), and Oracle Tax Reporting (Tax) applications.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements. Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where technology can drive improvements and efficiencies.
  • Implement and configure data integration processes using tools, including but not limited to, Oracle Data Exchange (DE), Oracle Data Management (DM), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data integration issues.
  • Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance the client's operations. Help clients make informed decisions about adopting and implementing new technologies.
  • Perform data mapping, validation, and unit testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide documentation to clients to ensure successful adoption of data integration solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices for data integrations (data & metadata) and Oracle EPM Cloud technologies.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of implemented solutions to identify areas for improvement or optimization. Provide recommendations for updates, upgrades, or modifications, as needed.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • MBA, relevant master's degree, or PhD, a plus.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and supporting Oracle EPM data integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle Data Exchange (DE), Oracle Data Management (DM), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in process improvement & process re-engineering.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and other data integration techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to advise clients on strategic EPM/Systems direction.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Preferred consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level is required.
  • Previous experience working in IT companies.
  • Flexibility for travel

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management Data Integration Implementation Certified Professional – preferred
  • Other Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management Implementation Specialist Certifications (Planning, Consolidations, Reconciliations, Narrative Reporting) – desired
