Job Summary

ZelTech is seeking a Sr Talent Acquisition Manager to develop, optimize, and execute complex, scalable, and best-practice candidate sourcing strategies to attract top talent to service our government clientele in the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and other Federal Agencies.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Must proactively develop and implement talent sourcing strategies while working in parallel to develop and maintain ongoing talent pipeline.
  • Gather and maintain market research on industries, skill sets, and competitors to strategically advise key stakeholders on the talent market landscape. 
  • Engage with cross-functional teams within the organization to develop and execute talent acquisition initiatives and strategies.
  • Deliver high quality, thorough, and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands. 
  • Communicate and present measures of success to leadership by tracking metrics and generating reports. 
  • Maintain and make recommendations on improvements to existing recruitment database systems and software in order to optimize efficiency across the recruiting process. 
  • Manage relationships and pipelines from all outside agencies and recruiting firms, as needed. 
  • Manage written and verbal communication with candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers throughout the interview process and ensure the process is moving at a proper pace.
  • Manage all sourcing of candidates and develop a diverse pipeline of high-quality talent.
  • Take part in cross functional team meetings and color team reviews to advise and support in developing tailored and winning staffing approaches based on RFP requirements. 
  • Travel, as needed, for hiring events and other recruitment-related activities. 

 

Requirements:

  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive talent acquisition management and recruiting experience with technical services-based US government contractors with demonstrated experience in supporting the development and execution of effective staffing plans to meet dynamic customer/contractual needs for highly technical positions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in relevant field such as but not limited to Business Management or Human Resources Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross functional teams to assist in developing tailored staffing approaches to meet contractual requirements and strategic staffing goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing proactive talent pipelines and effectively recruiting for highly technical positions such as: program managers, intelligence analysts, engineers, scientists, subject matter experts, and high-level advisors to senior leadership. 
  • Demonstrated experience successfully supporting staffing surges of over 30+ positions within a 60-day timeframe.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume environment and delivering quality pipelines of candidates under very tight timelines. 
  • Ability to read through and understand staffing and position requirements within a Request for Proposal and ability to translate those requirements into formal job descriptions.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage a network of candidates to gain referrals.
  • Enthusiastic and “hunter” mentality. 
  • AIRS Certification.
  • Successful background and drug screening check.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Active secret or higher security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.
  • Direct experience supporting staffing requirements for contracts with the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).
