- Education and Experience: Internship experience in commercial vessel design, shipyard and/or vessel operation experience paired with a BS degree in Naval Architecture or related degree.
- Preferred Intent of Licensure: Intent to pursue a Professional Engineering (PE) License is highly valued, demonstrating commitment to expertise. For this having taken and passed the FE is expected.
- Effective Communication: Effective writing and communication skills are pivotal to support development of contract design documents, client engagement, regulatory review, and vessel repair and construction.
- Software Proficiency: Experience and familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino, Pipe-Flo, GHS, Microsoft 365 strongly desired.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is fully remote, meaning you can work from your home office, across the United States. There may be up to 25% travel to shipyards for inspections.
