Job description

Your new company

Our client is an established and growing general contracting company based out of Toronto with decades of experience successfully building Institutional and Commercial projects in Southern Ontario. With a continuing increase in project load they are looking to add a seasoned Construction Manager or Vice President of Construction to head up the ICI Division.

Your new role

As Vice President of Construction, you'll be the driving force behind the successful execution of various projects in Southern Ontario. From groundbreaking new builds to complex renovations, tenant fit outs and additions, you'll oversee all bidding, preconstruction and on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to balance on-site presence with focused work from home, empowering you to manage your time effectively and maximize productivity.



Requirements

What you'll need to succeed

A proven track record of successfully managing multiple ICI construction projects both new build and renovations.

Experienced with Bid To Win projects.

A combination of both Site Superintendent & Project Manager experience

Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Prover track record of managing in house teams.

Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

A solid understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Projects, other).

A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation is based on Experience – range from $140,000 t0 $160,000 plus package
