We are looking for:

A new, full-time remote team member who is a passionate, talented and experienced SEO Specialist looking for a new career with a well-established Canadian digital web agency.

Job Overview

As an SEO Specialist at Wisevu, you will be working with a lead SEO Accounts Manager to help execute and implement diverse SEO tasks and improve clients’ search engine rankings both on-page and off-page. You will also be working with a team of content writers, web designers, developers, PPC experts, and SEOs to help create highly effective web pages that are crafted for optimal search engine rankings, user experience and conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting SEO audits to identify opportunities, implementing improvements based on findings, and collaborating with other departments for optimization.
  • Engage in off-page SEO by building quality backlink profiles for client websites using industry-leading tools and strategies for long-term success.
  • Play a key role in content research, strategy, production, and management. While content writing is handled by dedicated writers, strong English writing skills are essential for this role. You will lead and collaborate with the content team to refine copy and drive improved rankings, organic traffic, and conversions.
  • Drive keyword research, strategy, and implementation to enhance SEO campaigns. Optimize pages based on keyword insights and best practices, and develop content calendars for clients.
  • Ensure that the recurring content gets published on time and according to Wisevu quality guidelines.
  • Review monthly analytics reports to identify areas of opportunity and note any changes in rankings to report to SEO Accounts Managers and clients.
  • Conducting regular maintenance of Google My Business Profiles such as uploading images and GMB posts.
  • Implementing Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Data Studio, Phone Call Tracking, Keyword Rank Tracking and other conversion tracking systems. Ensuring conversions are being tracked precisely without any issues. Performing Analytics Audits in order to assess opportunities and address issues.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, IT, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience working within a digital marketing agency
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Experience in Google Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio)

Communication and Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail

Technical skills:

  • Strong Technical Understanding of SEO algorithms and ability to execute SEO (On-page and Off-page) tasks effectively.
  • Ability to analyze analytics and reports, track website metrics, and use data to make informed decisions about SEO strategies and tactics.
  • Strong at content optimization and creation

Technological:

  • A workspace free of distraction. This job is for someone who enjoys working from home or in a coworking space.
  • A download speed of at least 30 Mbps and upload speed of at least 10 Mbps

Work Timings:

  • You are required to provide 6 hours of overlap with the 9 am-5 pm EST workday (Monday - Friday).
