Hilco Vision is searching for a Digital and Web Development Specialist to join our marketing team! The Digital & Web Development Specialist manages the technical aspects of the company’s digital platforms, focusing on website development, maintenance, and collaborating with external web development agencies. This role ensures all digital properties are functional, optimized, and aligned with the company’s marketing and business objectives. Hilco Vision headquarters are in MA, this role is open to remote or hybrid applicants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ years’ experience in digital marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of professional web development and digital marketing concepts.
  • Understanding of web performance metrics and tools to monitor site functionality.
  • Familiarity with integrating web features with marketing platforms and business objectives.
  • Knowledge of best practices in UX/UI design, responsive design, and system integrations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Advanced knowledge of web design and development platforms (e.g., WordPress, Magento).
  • Project management skills to oversee web initiatives and deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative on complex assignments.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset for aligning digital platforms with business goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience in front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with external web agencies to manage website projects, feature rollouts, and platform optimizations.
  • Overseeing daily website operations, including technical maintenance and content updates.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and minimizing platform disruptions.
  • Conducting system and channel testing to ensure functionality and performance
  • Aligning web functionalities with marketing objectives and reporting on performance.
  • This role is pivotal in bridging the technical and marketing functions of the organization. By managing the functionality and optimization of digital platforms, the Digital & Web Development Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless user experiences and supporting the company’s marketing objectives.
