  • Review title commitments and generate open items lists to flag potential risks for the Senior Underwriter's review (e.g., legal descriptions, easements, vesting, tax liens, judgments, and bankruptcies).
  • Prepare affidavits and deal forms as directed by the Senior Underwriter.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline with accurate information, including key dates, premiums, and file status.
  • Communicate with national underwriters, external counsel, and clients regarding transaction-related matters under the Senior Underwriter's guidance.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping in internal software such as TrackerPro and Accutitle, in collaboration with the Senior Underwriter.
  • Be familiar with national closing documentation requirements (e.g., transfer tax forms, mortgage affidavits).
  • Support the Senior Underwriter with general tasks as needed.
  • Respond promptly to calls, voicemails, and emails.
  • Adhere to all company policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
