About This Role

I-MED is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead and manage day-to-day security operations, ensuring the protection of both physical and digital assets. This key role involves developing and implementing security strategies, leading a team, and working closely with internal departments and external vendors to effectively safeguard against potential threats. Key Responsibilities


  • Strategy & Business Planning: Develop adaptable IT architecture aligned with business needs and strategic goals. Collaborate with IT leadership for infrastructure planning.
  • Demand, Capacity & Planning: Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure to meet demands, ensuring proactive performance monitoring and SLA compliance.
  • Change & Security Management: Oversee IT infrastructure changes, enforce security policies, manage breaches, and evaluate security improvements.
  • Operations Management: Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability and satisfaction. Oversee IT projects like upgrades, installations, and maintenance.
  • Relationships & Team Leadership: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and team members. Foster an engaging, high-performance culture.
  • People Development: Implement training programs, manage performance through feedback, and support staff retention through effective HR practices.


Qualifications, Skills & Competencies


  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or related fields, ITIL certification, and 5+ years of experience in managing IT departments (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Incident Response & Crisis Management: Expertise in assessing and responding to security incidents
  • Threat Intelligence & Risk Assessment: Strong ability to analyse and manage security risks.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead a security operations team and collaborate across departments.
