Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Client Timezone: Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia

Scope:

Monday to Friday anywhere between 8 AM to 5 PM Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia
Work remotely for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours as the business grows
Manage all aspects of the company’s social media presence across multiple platforms
Oversee e-commerce operations on Shopify, including both retail and wholesale accounts
Handle email marketing strategy and implementation
Collaborate with the business owner to align digital strategies with overall business goals

Responsibilities:

Create and schedule 4-5 daily social media posts across various platforms
Manage community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages
Design creative content for product promotions and brand awareness
Set up and manage a wholesale account on Shopify
Perform regular updates and tweaks to the Shopify store
Upload new products and update existing product information as needed
Create and manage email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp
Analyze social media and e-commerce metrics to drive growth and engagement

Requirements:

Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry
Proficiency with Shopify, including experience with wholesale account setup
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
Basic graphic design skills for creating social media content
Strong written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Experience with social media analytics and reporting
