What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support accounting and financial operations in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. This role is ideal for a professional with a blend of accounting expertise and financial analysis skills who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project setting. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing reports, and conducting financial analysis for real estate investment properties and portfolios.


Responsibilities—what you'll do:

  • Process and accurately code invoices, ensure proper approvals, and align with general ledger accounts; manage expense reports and credit card statements.
  • Generate and track invoices for internal and external entities, post deposits, and oversee timely collections; reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare related allocations.
  • Maintain cash schedules, process journal entries, and assist with financial projections.
  • Perform thorough bank reconciliations across all entities; lead month-end close activities including maintaining general ledger schedules and generating variance analyses.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and manage investor distributions; monitor bank activity, ensuring accurate and timely posting.
  • Handle internal and external billing processes, including cash receipts and quarterly labor allocations; assist with billing and collections to support organizational cash flow.
  • Prepare financial reports, projections, and variance analyses for decision-making; monitor financial performance of real estate portfolios and individual properties.
  • Contribute to budget development, business plans, and reforecasting efforts; assist in preparing tax schedules and investor reporting documents.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting software systems; assist in preparing compliance and tax reports as required.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and familiarity with multi-entity financial environments
  • Highly detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools
  • Fully fluent in English
  • Ability to commit long-term and full-time
  • This position is for serious, career-oriented candidates


Qualities we also look for:

  • Experience with real estate accounting systems (RealPage experience is a plus)
  • Familiarity with construction accounting and draw package management is an advantage
  • A proactive approach to improving processes and contributing ideas for operational efficiency.
  • Agile and able to manage duties being assigned with a high degree of prioritization
  • Proven ability to take initiative, anticipate and solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of professionalism
