Financial Analyst

You also have a thirst and desire to grow in a rapidly changing and evolving environment. NVA Canada is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team and business. This position is ideal if you have an accounting/finance background and are looking for a chance to greatly contribute to the company’s success. The role provides a blend of financial analytics and business partnership. This is a mid-level position within the company and a successful analyst will have an integral role in shaping Canadian level reporting and supporting/driving other key finance initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare and provide monthly update files to sites with support from wider finance team
  • Partner with our joint venture community to provide day to day support, communication, and understanding of finance topics arising, building a more informed base of operating partners
  • Provide support within the spheres of P&L reporting, partner distributions, incentive-based compensation plans, tax
  • Understand and provide insight on hospital budgets, capturing and sharing business themes to integrate with forecasts and assist development of finance playbook
  • Collaborate with Accounting on adjustments, financial deep-dives and/or re-classes
What makes someone a good fit?
  • You have strong accounting and analytic skills with experience supporting business growth and process development
  • Budgeting and valuation experience
  • The ability to understand and communicate complex financial information, providing insight into what the numbers are telling you
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a business, finance, or accounting focus is required
  • CPA and Masters in Accountancy is preferred
  • 3+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, xlookups, macros and BI & AI tools
