Position Profile

Weaver is looking for an IT Applications Administrator II to join our growing internal IT team. This individual will be responsible for providing independent escalated application and system-level support while assisting with project management to implement and upgrade all assigned applications and services. You will be managing and implementing all changes based on change and release management methodology, assisting in managing system security and user role and access management, and maintaining clear documentation. You will also be guiding tier I and II Application Administrators and IT Service Desk staff in support of assigned applications and services.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years IT disciplines
  • 5+ years supporting Windows Desktop OS
  • 2+ years supporting financial management systems
  • 2+ years supporting Windows Server OS
  • Experience in SQL queries and application scripting such as PowerShell or VBA
  • Experience in Group Policy Objects
  • Experience in supporting application servers
  • Experience in developing application deployment methodologies
  • Experience in Change and Release Management
  • Possesses the ability to plan, document, and effectively implement projects and systems
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent projects
